Welcome to the new AmeriCorps Alums Blog

Hello All,

Welcome the our new blog.  We have decided to use this as our new method of communication rather than our website, www.aalumsbtown.org.  The blog will allow us to keep you up to date on all of our meetings, service projects, events, and news.  Using this new format, you can keep up with us a few different ways: you can find us on Facebook, join or mailing list, or follow us on Google Reader.

Also, we will be having a cookout/meet-and-greet on Friday (8/27) at 2 PM at 405 E Southern Dr.  Feel free to stop by and hang out with the members of the 2010-2011 Executive Board.  If you are new to Bloomington or AmeriCorps Alums, this is a great way to learn more about what we have planned for the next year and to meet some new people.  All are welcome. 

We have tentatively planned our first general meeting for the week of September 6.  We will post the final date and time early next week, so check back with us then.
